Wide Open Spaces – Inspiring Art by Janet Peace
Walking the Forest2Coast Meander in the Harkerville Forest between Plett and Knysna with Wide Open Spaces in March 2024 was a game changer for my art.
The intense energy that resonated from the forest, and everything in it, stayed with me and informed my painting.
The forest is 3D poetry in motion. The sights, fragrances, sounds and shapes were intriguing and beautiful.
I started using magenta pink underpainting to try and capture the forest feel. This art is still a work-in progress.

This is what the essence of the Wide Open Spaces walking experiences is all about.
Walking in nature and immersing oneself in the natural beauty of the trails and environment opens up one’s senses and enhances the peace and tranquillity of our clients.
This is why we do what we do at Wide Open Spaces.
This is our passion. Receiving feedback like this from Janet, is what makes the journey so satisfying.
Come join Wide Open Spaces on one of our walks and you too could experience a new beginning, a new energy, a new you.
